For thousands of years, Egypt has been growing olive trees, in the 1980's, our farm "Badr Hamdy & Sons Farms" was established on the edge of the west desert. The olive trees are planed on the hills of our farm.

We successfully grow the Egyptian varieties as well as most of the Mediterranean varieties. The olives are grown for oil extraction olives are processed immediately while fresh, thus all processing facilities have been established on the farm.

Our quality starts with good agriculture practice to obtain the finest olives. The olives are handpicked and processed according to the traditional methods by "natural fermentation" to obtain a fruity taste. Green olives are picked first, then ripe black varieties are picked when reaching black colour, fermented in brine and no process is introduced.
